丑女贝蒂：故事继续 第二季

　　你可曾做过左拥右抱、独揽三美的黄粱美梦，不过某人却把他变为了现实，他不是古代的皇帝，也不是非洲或阿拉伯的某位酋长，而是如今住在盐湖城郊外的BillHenrickson，他与三位娇妻、七名子嗣共同生活，当然随之而来的还有雪崩般的账单和债务。Bill正经营一家发展中的家居装修连锁店，更困难的任务是要在三位夫人间保持经济和情感的平衡，三娇妻Barb、Nikci和Margene各自独住一栋小屋，每三天轮流分享一夜自己的老公，为了整个大家庭的财政和情感不至于破产和分裂，他们不得不压抑自己的嫉妒，遵守着默认的秩序，掩盖着这惊天大秘密--一夫多妻制在犹太洲是非法的，在摩门教主流教派中也是严令禁止的。麻烦还不止来自于自己的家庭，Bill的父母--居住在犹他州乡下基督教区，以及他的岳父--一夫多妻制社团的强势头目都遇到一系列危机。

　　就这样尤利卡小镇诞生了。但是对于所有熟知小镇的人来说。小镇拥有一切，但没有秩序。老派而健忘的教授因为某种原因而存在于小镇上；在过去五十年间，大多数科技上的突飞猛进都是尤利卡镇的精英研究者们取得的。然而不幸的是，科学的探索总是出乎人们的意料。经年的试验走了歪路，产生了怪异的副产品。
　　从单相思到职业妒忌，从瘾君子到沮丧，尤利卡小镇人的问题源于每天生活中的大量挑战。由于小镇上人们无双的天赋，混乱的心理状态和短缺的资源，这些小镇的忧虑逐渐成为了一个大问题。在人性弱点和超级科学碰撞的十字路口，小镇开始……

故事发生在二战期间，主人公是法国小镇Nouvion的咖啡店主RenéArtois（实际拍摄地点为英国诺福克郡的LynfordHall）。纳粹占领军抢劫了村子里所有的有价值的艺术品。                  
                　　其中包括史上第一个布谷鸟挂钟，以及一幅号称是名家VanClomp所作，价值连城的油画《堕落的大波麦当娜》。当地德军指挥官决定把这幅画归为己有，强迫Rene把画藏在他的咖啡馆里。可是，纳粹德国领袖希特勒也想得到这幅画，派了一个盖世太保军官前去寻找这幅画，而这个盖世太保也想自己猫腻这幅画。与此同时，出现了若干这幅油画的赝品。真品和赝品被弄混了。画被装进德国香肠里，一根放在军火运输列车中，在送往希特勒的途中被炸得粉碎，一根被藏起来，还有一根被Flick当成了晚餐。                  
                　　该剧的另一条主线是两个被迫降落在该地的英国飞行员躲在René的咖啡馆里。当地全女性法国抵抗组织设法把这两位英国飞行员安全送回英国。但是，计划屡屡出漏子，也闹出了不少笑话。                  
                　　似乎这一切还不够乱，René是个花心男人。跟咖啡馆里的两个女招待私下偷情，千方百计要瞒过自己的老婆。锦上添花，或雪上加霜的是，抵抗组织的女首领似乎爱上了René！另外，一个娘娘腔德国军官也看上了这位咖啡馆老板，总是向他暗送秋波。

ThePsiCorpsandPresidentClark,whosegovernmenthasdiscoveredShadowvesselsburiedinEarth'ssolarsystem,begintoharnessthevessels'advancedtechnology.TheClarkadministrationcontinuestobecomeincreasinglyxenophobicandtotalitarian,andusesamilitaryincidentasanexcusetodeclaremartiallaw.ThistriggersawarofindependenceonMars,whichhadlonghadastrainedpoliticalrelationshipwithEarth.Babylon5alsodeclaresindependencefromEarth,alongwithseveralotheroutlyingEarthAlliancecolonies.Inresponse,theEarthAllianceattemptstoretakeBabylon5byforce,butwiththeaidoftheMinbari,whohavealliedwiththestationagainstthegrowingShadowthreat,theattackisrepelled.                  
                　　BecomingconcernedovertheShadows'growinginfluenceamongsthispeople,CentauriambassadorLondoMollariattemptstosevertieswiththem.Mr.Morden,theShadows'humanrepresentative,trickshimintorestoringthepartnershipbyengineeringthemurderofMollari'smistresswhileputtingtheblameonarivalCentauriHouse.OpenwarfarebreaksoutbetweentheShadowsandtheallianceledbyBabylon5andtheMinbari.ItislearnedthatgeneticmanipulationbytheVorlonsisthesourceofhumantelepathy,asitislaterdiscoveredthatShadowshipsarevulnerabletotelepathicattacks.DispleasedattheVorlons'lackofdirectactionagainsttheShadows,CaptainJohnSheridanbrowbeatsVorlonambassadorKoshNaranekintolaunchinganattackagainsttheirmutualenemy.Kosh'sdeedsleadtohissubsequentassassinationbytheShadows.                  
                　　FormerstationcommanderJeffreySinclairreturnstoBabylon5toenlisttheaidofCaptainSheridan,Delenn,IvanovaandMarcusinstealingtheBabylon4spacestationandsendingit1,000yearsbackintimetouseitasabaseofoperationsagainsttheShadowsinthepreviousMinbari-Shadowwar.UndergoingthesametransformationasDelennattheendofSeason1,SinclairtransformsintoaMinbariandissubsequentlyrevealedtobetheactualValenofMinbarilegend,ratherthanareincarnation.Spurredbythereappearanceofhisassumed-deadwife(whonowworksfortheShadows),SheridantravelstoZ'ha'dum,theShadowhomeworld,inanattemptbythemtorecruithim.Howeverheinsteaddestroystheirlargestcityinakamikazenuclearattack,andislastseenjumpingintoamiles-deeppittoescapetheexplosion.Garibaldi,duringafightwithShadowvessels,goesmissing.

Atthebeginningof2259,CaptainJohnSheridanreplacesSinclairasthemilitarygovernorofthestation.HeandthecommandstafflearnthatthedeathofPresidentSantiagowasactuallyanassassinationmastermindedbyVicePresidentClark(whoassumedthePresidencyuponSantiago'sdeath).AconflictdevelopsbetweentheBabylon5commandstaffandthePsiCorps,anincreasinglyautocraticorganizationwhichoverseesandcontrolsthelivesofhumantelepaths.CommanderIvanova,thesecond-in-commandofthestation,issecretlyalatenttelepathwhohasillicitlyavoidedregisteringwiththePsiCorps.                  
                　　TheShadows,anancientandextremelypowerfulracewhohaverecentlyemergedfromhibernation,arerevealedtobethecauseofavarietyofmysteriousanddisturbingevents,includingtheattackontheNarnoutpostattheendof2258.CentauriAmbassadorLondoMollariunknowinglyenliststheiraidthroughhisassociationwiththemysteriousMr.MordenintheongoingconflictwiththeNarn.TheelderlyandailingCentauriemperor,longanadvocateofreconciliationwiththeNarn,diessuddenlywhilevisitingBabylon5.Anumberofconspirators,includingLondoMollariandRefa,takecontroloftheCentaurigovernmentbyassassinatingtheiropponentsandplacingthelateemperor'sunstablenephewonthethrone.TheirfirstactistostartopenaggressionagainsttheNarn.Afterafull-scalewarbreaksout,theCentaurieventuallyconquerNarninabrutalattackinvolvingmassdrivers,outlawedweaponsofmassdestruction.Towardstheendoftheyear,theClarkadministrationbeginstoshowincreasinglytotalitariancharacteristics,clampingdownondissentandrestrictingfreedomofspeech.TheVorlonsarerevealedtobethebasisoflegendsaboutangelsonvariousworlds,includingEarth,andaretheancientenemiesoftheShadows.TheyenlisttheaidofSheridanandtheBabylon5commandstaffinthestruggleagainsttheShadows.

　　也就是最早的ST，为了和后来的剧集区别开国外Fans在其名称后加了TheOriginalSeries，所以简称TOS，一共三季，开创了历史的经典之作，电影版的1-6可以看作TOS的延续，电视剧版原班人马。

　　1990年英国BBC推出的电视剧版《纸牌屋》改编自MichaelDobbs的同名政治惊悚小说，共由《纸牌屋》、《戏王记》、《最终章》三部分组成，每部分四集，单集片长约55分钟。该剧在2000年英国电影学院评选的100部英国最优秀电视节目中排名第84位，2010年英国《卫报》评选的史上50佳英美剧中排名第18位。
